This past weekend, S and I put on our tourist hats and went for a drive...
my tourist hat looks more like a beanie but whatevs...
we drove 1 1/2hrs. to get some of this...
at the Brazillian Steakhouse, Copa Cabana

I love this photo taken by S. The hotel had a package that included tickets for the Sky Wheel. Half Gondola/Half Ferris Wheel with an RPM a hamster could outdo, perfect for taking in the sights. From a distance cause we had no desire to actually walk by the frozen falls. It's breathtaking but we've seen it a thousand at least 10 times.

After a good 10 minutes outdoors, we hit the arcades to
"Feed Big Bertha" and beat the high score of "Belly Bomber"
That's S' ear and plaid shirt.
I heart that the games we played were food/stomach based. Seemed to be the theme of the weekend. We ended it off at the Melting Pot, for some amazing fondue.
I heart big melted pots o' chocolate.

Congrats on making it to a 100 (posts... not years of course ;-) Looks like you had a great time... the frozen Falls look great, but I agree it's not something you'd need to see again (I've been there twice and I think I would have gone straight to the Fondue... ;-) Oh yeah, the meat sounds fantastic. See, this is why I could never have a food blog, because as much as I love the stuff, there's no way I could document and take pics before actually eating....

i haven't been to niagra falls in the longest! loved it there...so pretty...especially when not frozen!

I love Niagra Falls! It's one of my favorite places to visit. So magical and beautiful. I have never seen it in the winter though. Is it really frozen now?!

Your tourist beanie is the cutest thing ever... and you in the fury eskimo hood... EVEN cuter than the cutest thing in the world, which was the beanie... which means if it's cuter than the cutest thing ever, it's pretty darn cute. AND THAT was quite the convulated way to say YOU ARE AMAZINGLY CUTE!
